Senior Structural Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide technical support and review contractors' coordinated shop drawings against Issued For Construction (IFC) drawings for compliance with design intent.
• Review contractor and subcontractor calculations for permanent works elements and connections per design specifications.
• Review subcontractors' structural / civil shop drawings in coordination with building services engineers.
• Review subcontractors' construction method statements, test results, and material submittals for new permanent works or remedial works.
• Evaluate subcontractors' structural / civil material proposals for compliance with technical performance requirements.
• Attend project meetings related to structural / civil technical items.
• Ensure compliance with the design subcontractor's specified technical requirements.
• Respond to RFIs in consultation with design teams.
• Write site visit reports and maintain logs of work.
• Assist design teams in updating technical specifications based on site insights.
• Visit multiple sites and represent Buro Happold in site meetings as a BH ambassador.
