Assistant Manager Flight Safety (SMS)

Job Summary :

To support the effective implementation and coordination of the organizations SMS across operational departments ensuring compliance continuous improvement and promotion of a proactive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in planning and organizing activities to support the SMS across departments including Flight Operations Inflight Ground Operations and Technical.
• Coordinate with operating departments to ensure alignment and participation in SMS initiatives.
• Support the planning and execution of Safety Action Groups (SAGs) including agenda preparation and presentation development.
• Assist in organizing Safety Review Board (SRB) meetings including content planning and interdepartmental coordination.
• Facilitate the coordination of the Risk Management process across key operational areas.
• Support identification assessment and mitigation of safety risks in collaboration with relevant stakeholder s
• Coordinate the Safety Data Collection and Processing System to ensure timely delivery of corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor and track safety performance outcomes using SMS software tools.
• Assist in the development planning and execution of safety promotion initiatives such as Seminars and workshops / Safety surveys and Bulletins / Magazines Newsletters and safety alerts / posters.
