Founded in 2012, Earthood has grown as an internationally
recognized organization working in Climate Change mitigation and well as broad Environmental Sustainability & Agriculture sectors. Core services comprise of consulting, auditing and certification, including, but not limited to audits for carbon offsetting projects, advisory for Net-Zero roadmap, ESG strategy, and Energy Efficiency.
Job Responsibilities and Attributes :
1. Thorough knowledge of biodiversity programs, sustainable forest management and agroforestry projects. Preference will be given to those with considerable working experience in forest areas.
2. Understanding and ability to design programs for forest rehabilitation measures including tree nursery development and tree planting strategies / procedures.
3. Demonstrated success in implementing programs aimed at protecting biodiversity, including interventions targeted at forestry management. Capability to develop environmental and climate change project schedules and budgets.
4. Demonstrated knowledge of the latest developments in advancing good / best practices in biodiversity that reaches the women, youth, the poor and very poor, creativity, willingness to innovate, think systemically and design catalytic.
5. Manage the forestry and agroforestry field teams, vendors including evaluating and creating training programs, developing work plans, reviewing work deliverables, and providing value-added feedback.
Education Qualifications :
Competencies
1. Ability to build strong relationships with national consultants and stakeholders, to focus on impact and results for the client, to respond positively to critical feedback, and a consensus-oriented approach to work.
2. Experience in accomplishing change management strategies and are comfortable with communication / marketing tools to foster the required change.
3. Highly developed inter-personal, negotiation and teamwork skills, and a networking aptitude.
4. Excellent English writing and communication skills.
5. Ability to work in complex, multi-stake-holder project environments.
6. Specific experience in institutional capacity assessment of forestry and agroforestry institutions is required.
7. Demonstrated experience in collaborating across projects.
8. Understanding of global sustainability markets and voluntary carbon markets
