Responsibilities :
- Operate and maintain GC-FID and other laboratory instruments for analysis
- Perform proximate analysis and test UV parameters
- Analyze fatty acid profiles in various food matrices
- Manage sample preparation , handling, and storage before and after analysis
- Maintain and update Certified Reference Materials (CRM)
- Conduct method verification and validation as per regulatory and internal standards
- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Accurately interpret, analyze, and report test results
- Ensure compliance with laboratory quality and safety protocols
- Maintain detailed records of all test activities, calibrations, and observations
Qualifications :
B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry or related field3–4 years of hands-on experience in a food testing laboratoryProficiency in proximate analysis, water analysis, allergen analysis , and use of general instrumentsFamiliarity with method validation and use of CRMs in testing proceduresAdditional Skills & Attributes :
Strong interpersonal and communication skillsEnergetic , flexible , and innovative in problem-solvingAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectivelyComfortable with reading and writing in English and local languageQuick and decisive in laboratory decision-makingProficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Skills Required
