Company Description

We are a manufacturing company involved in manufacturing, importing, exporting and supply of Cosmetic Ingredients (fine chemicals), which are mainly used in personal care and cosmetic industries.

Job Description :

1. Literature survey from online sources for synthesis of organic chemical molecules.

2. Discuss with Team Leader and make presentation to Management on the manufacturing process along with list of raw materials, mass balance, stoichiometric balance, expected yields, quality parameters, process temperature / pressure conditions as well as effluents generated.

3. Plan the experiments with time lines, monitor in detail and record in detail.

4. Prepare the finding of the experiment and report to Superiors.

5. Repeat and validate the experiments.

6. Support in transformations in synthetic organic chemistry aimed at target molecules from R&D scale to plant scale.

7. Efficient handling of High pressure, Hazardous, highly moisture sensitive and other specialized reactions.

8. Cost effective process development.

9. Optimizing the process by considering the yield, quality, cost and safety operations of the process.

10. Preparation of Process Development Report / TTD to transfer technology to the pilot plant.

11. Impurity impact on process, identification & synthesis.

12. Development of new molecules and technology transfer of the same.

13. Process improvement for cost reduction and easy technology transfer.

Qualification :

Masters in Science with Organic Chemistry

3-5 years of prior R&D work experience

Must be from a reputed institute and have good academic credentials

Experience in organic synthesis / multi-step synthesis.

Handling reactions from gram to kilo scale.

Experience in the characterization and identification of products using NMR, LCMS, IR, GC and HPLC.

Sound Knowledge of isolation, separation & purification techniques.

Prerequisites :

Good communication & interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt to new technologies and communication channels.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Good follow up with stakeholders to ensure a timely solution is provided to clients.
