Job Description for Compliance Analyst role
The compliance analyst will be part of Insight Alpha's compliance team and will work closely with the Research and Compliance Lead.
- The individual will engage thoughtfully & confidently and deal with the compliance nuances and processes.
- In-depth knowledge of industry compliance requirements and standards.
- Understanding and enforcing the key compliance rules & regulations of the organisation
- Reviewing and carefully evaluating the compliance requests and proposing solutions to the issues
- Graduate with 3-5 years of experience.
- Ability to effectively train employees in compliance standards and guidelines, and international laws and regulations.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Should possess strong analytical skills.
Key requirements for the role
Knowledge of Compliance Requirements : Proficiency in in-depth secondary research and the ability to differentiate between valid and invalid evidence.Investigative and Research Skills : Experience in investigative processes and secondary research methodologies.Familiarity with Sanction Lists : Awareness of global and national sanction lists such as OFAC, SEC, SEBI, SFIO, FIU, etc.Adverse Media Checks : Expertise in conducting in-depth adverse media or negative information checks.Communication and Reporting : Strong communication skills and the ability to create detailed, well-structured reports.
