About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Engineer Secure Key Management with strong expertise in encryption, key management, and Unix / Linux administration. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding sensitive data, implementing cryptographic solutions, and ensuring compliance with security standards across both on-premise and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and manage secure key management solutions.
- Administer Unix / Linux systems to support encryption and cryptographic services.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate encryption into SDLC pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards (e.g., PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cryptographic services for availability and performance.
- Work with infrastructure components (firewalls, load balancers, databases, logging, monitoring) to secure
data flows.
Stay updated on emerging encryption technologies and industry best practices.Must-Have Skills :
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on encryption and secure key management.Strong Unix / Linux system administration expertise.Hands-on experience with SDLC processes and DevOps tools (GitLab, Azure DevOps).Knowledge of infrastructure components including firewalls, load balancers, databases, logging, and monitoring tools.Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Good to Have :
Experience with cloud key management services (AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, GCP KMS).Familiarity with cryptographic libraries, PKI, and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).Exposure to regulatory and compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST).(ref : hirist.tech)
