About the Role
The Vertical Head will lead the strategy, growth, and revenue generation across multiple business categories. This role requires a strong commercial mindset, category understanding, and the ability to build strategic alliances with leading brands, agencies, and partners. Oversee key client relationships and lead a high-performing team to achieve business goals.
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement the overall business strategy for assigned verticals aligned with company objectives.
- Identify market trends, new business opportunities, and category innovations to drive growth.
- Build strategic partnerships and alliances with leading brands and clients across the verticals.
- Drive long-term category planning and positioning initiatives through driving the team with regular follow ups.
- Revenue & Business Development
- Own and deliver revenue targets for all verticals.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through proactive client engagement and partnership development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Branding) to generate Print revenue as well as activations led revenue.
- Identify and chase brand solutions leads from the market and convert into business and long-term association.
Qualifications
10–15 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Category Management roles.Strong network of industry contacts and key decision-makers.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Leadership experience with multi-category or cross-functional teams.Required Skills
