Title : Compliance Manager
About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to lead our organizational compliance and risk management initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will ensure that the company conducts its business in full alignment with all relevant national and international laws, regulations, and internal governance standards. You will play a key role in strengthening the companys risk culture, maintaining stakeholder trust, and embedding compliance as a strategic enabler across all business functions.
Key Governance & Leadership :
- Develop, implement, and oversee the companys compliance framework, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and internal governance practices.
- Lead company-wide compliance programs and initiatives to promote a culture of accountability and integrity.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to identify potential compliance risks and design mitigation strategies.
Risk Management & Oversight :
Manage and monitor organizational risk through structured risk assessment and control evaluation processes.Partner with internal audit and external consultants to ensure consistent adherence to compliance obligations.Oversee third-party risk management, ensuring due diligence, ongoing monitoring, and vendor compliance.Provide regular compliance and risk reports to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.Stakeholder & Program Management :
Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory bodies.Coordinate responses to audits, certifications, and external assessments.Support senior management with insights on emerging regulatory developments and theirimpact on operations.
Foster cross-functional collaboration to integrate compliance awareness into daily business operations.Policy & Ethics Management :
Maintain and update corporate compliance policies, ensuring they reflect evolving regulatory expectations and best practices.Lead training and awareness programs to strengthen employee understanding of compliance obligations.Champion ethical business conduct and guide teams in upholding corporate integrity and accountability standards.What You Bring :
Experience : 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience managing compliance or governance programs in a multinational or regulated industry (e.g., financial services, technology, consulting).
Education : Bachelors degree required; a postgraduate qualification in Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field Strong understanding of compliance, corporate governance, and risk management frameworks.
Proven ability to manage compliance programs from planning to implementation and review.Excellent judgment, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Strategic mindset with the ability to balance regulatory requirements and business objectives.Experience in managing matrix or cross-functional teams without direct Ethical, pragmatic, and solution-oriented leader.Skilled in managing ambiguity and influencing outcomes across diverse teams.Fluent in English (written and spoken).(ref : iimjobs.com)
