Key Responsibilities :
Application Support & Maintenance :
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter applications.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for InfoCenter, DataHub, Contact Manager, and Agent Connect modules.
- Perform root cause analysis and develop solutions for both application and integration problems.
- Coordinate with business users, QA teams, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests.
- Manage and maintain application health, including performance tuning, error log analysis, and batch job monitoring.
Enhancements & Change Requests :
Work with business analysts to understand enhancement requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Develop, test, and deploy enhancements to Guidewire applications, ensuring alignment with business processes and compliance requirements.Implement data mapping, ETL transformations, and reporting changes in InfoCenter and DataHub.Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Integration & Data Management :
Support and enhance integrations between Guidewire modules and upstream / downstream systems including legacy platforms, external vendors, and internal data warehouses.Design and implement data migration, synchronization, and reconciliation processes using Guidewire DataHub and Data Integration Framework (DIF).Maintain and update interfaces for Contact Manager, ensuring accurate and timely flow of customer and agent data.Utilize InfoCenter for reporting, analytics, and dashboard enhancements to meet evolving business reporting needs.Incident and Problem Management :
Log, track, and resolve incidents and problems in a ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA), adhering to defined SLAs.Document root cause analyses, preventive measures, and knowledge articles for recurring issues.Facilitate communication with onshore teams and business stakeholders regarding issue resolution and system updates.Testing & Quality Assurance :
Develop and execute unit, integration, and regression test cases for bug fixes and enhancements.Collaborate with QA teams to support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) cycles and production validations.Participate in production deployments and post-deployment verification activities.Documentation & Training :
Maintain comprehensive technical and process documentation for Guidewire solutions and customizations.Contribute to user guides, knowledge base articles, and runbooks for common support scenarios.Provide training and guidance to junior team members and end-users as required.Required Skills & Qualifications :
Technical Expertise :
Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, InfoCenter, DataHub, Contact Manager, andAgent Connect modules.
Strong proficiency in Guidewire Gosu programming language, Guidewire Studio, and GOSU scripting.Experience in configuring Guidewire DataHub and InfoCenter for data integration and reporting requirements.Solid understanding of insurance domain concepts, particularly property and casualty (P&C) insurance operations andworkflows.
Familiarity with web services (SOAP / REST), XML, JSON, and middleware integration patterns.Database skills : SQL, PL / SQL, and familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.Experience with ETL tools and processes for data migration and transformation within insurance applications.Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI / CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.Soft Skills :

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Guidewire application development and support.Relevant Guidewire certifications (such as PolicyCenter Configuration, BillingCenter Integration, DataHub Specialist) are a strong plus.Past experience working in an offshore / onsite model is highly desirable.Key Deliverables :
