General Accounting - Team Lead

Position Summary

Accounting / Finance Team lead for Hillenbrand Global Finance Center (GFC) is a role based out of Coimbatore. The person will be managing a team and is responsible to perform general financial activities including financial accounting, Controls, Cost accounting / budgeting, Financial planning & analysis, tax, treasury, accounts payable / receivable, and credit & collections.

Work You'll Do

Strategic Responsibilities

• Serve as team leader for the designated Business unit's (BU) / Function / Process at GFC and coordinate with the team members, process leads, business controllers, GFC manager, corporate accounting teams to execute the strategic plans of the organisation pertaining to the BU's.
• Assist the management in determining the feasibility of implementing special projects, and developing new programs.
• Drive Continuous improvement.

This role will be setup in the Hillenbrand Global shared service Organization – Coimbatore, India. This role will have the opportunity to work with and learn from teams that are geographically diverse (Asia, Europe, and North America)
