Your future role

Youll play a key role in ensuring the precision safety and compliance of railway track alignments. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (such as civil structural and systems engineering teams) provide technical support during construction and much more.
Youll specifically take care of developing and reviewing horizontal and vertical track alignments using advanced design tools but also conduct feasibility studies and optimize designs based on terrain land constraints and operational requirements.

Designing and reviewing horizontal and vertical track alignments using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bentley OpenRail
Developing detailed layouts for crossovers turnouts and S&C arrangements
Collaborating with survey teams to validate and integrate field data into alignment models
Preparing alignment drawings technical reports and documentation for stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards in alignment designs
Providing technical support during construction and addressing alignment-related queries
Participating in design reviews and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
Delivering quality cost-effective alignment solutions and ensuring optimal interface designs

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Masters preferred)
Experience or understanding of railway track alignment design
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (mandatory)
Knowledge of Bentley OpenRail or similar alignment design tools
Familiarity with railway geometry track standards and construction practices
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
