Integration Engineer - Powertrain

You'll be working with the Research and Development team.

This team runs on coffee with an infectious passion to build products that have never been built before. Our Flexible Energy Stack consists of the e^pack (battery pack) , e^Port (Charging connector), e^Plug (Charging connector) and e^pump (charging station) which together unlock 15-minute rapid charging.

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on powertrain Integration Engineer with expertise in EV powertrain systems, especially in motor and controller integration. What powertrain means at Exponent :

• Deep understanding of motor systems for EVs
• Hands on experience tuning and working with motor controllers
• Should understand Field Oriented Control, Current & Voltage loops
• System design and integration knowledge for gearboxes and their integration with motors

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end powertrain architecture and integration of electric powertrain components with the overall EV architecture.
