We’re looking for a dynamic Head of Engineering to lead our technology vision and execution as we scale our consumer business. This role requires a balance of strategic foresight, product understanding, and hands-on technical expertise to build platforms and systems that deliver a seamless consumer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the company’s engineering strategy aligned with business and product goals.
- Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team across front-end, back-end, data, and infrastructure functions.
- Oversee system architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance for high traffic and fast growth.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to deliver world-class consumer experiences.
- Drive technology innovation — identify, evaluate, and implement tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Establish and maintain robust engineering practices : code quality, testing, CI / CD, and documentation.
- Manage engineering budgets, vendor relationships, and technology partnerships.
- Mentor senior engineers and build an inclusive, high-ownership team culture.
Requirements
10–15 years of total experience, with at least 4+ years leading engineering teams in a fast-paced consumer business (FMCG, D2C, Consumer Tech, or Marketplace).Strong background in building scalable consumer platforms — e-commerce, loyalty, CRM, or omnichannel systems experience preferred.Proven expertise in architecture and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).Experience managing full-stack teams using modern frameworks and technologies.Deep understanding of product development cycles and agile processes.Excellent leadership and communication skills — ability to translate business goals into technical strategies.
