Senior Engineer - Process

Job Description

Undertake process design work for projects and studies including the following typical activities and deliverables : -

• Concept design and layout development
• Process descriptions and design basis
• Material balances
• Preparation of process flow diagrams & piping and instrumentation diagrams
• Preparation of equipment lists, equipment datasheets, specifications
• Fluids lists and materials selection
• Process hazard studies (including HAZOP) and design safety reviews
• Detailed process design calculations
• Pressure relief design
• Hazardous area classification / assessment
• Utilities schedules, utilities flow diagrams and line sizing
• Process simulation using Hysys / Aspen Plus.
• Checking / Approval of process deliverables
• Commissioning plans and support
