Location : Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Contentful CMS Developer with a strong background in headless CMS implementations, modern web technologies, and scalable digital experience delivery. The ideal candidate will lead and contribute to designing, configuring, and integrating Contentful with front-end frameworks to create high-performance, SEO-optimized, and accessible web Development & Configuration :

  • Design, configure, and maintain Contentful content models, environments, and workflows.
  • Implement role-based permissions, localization, and advanced content management features.
  • Integrate Contentful with third-party services via REST / GraphQL APIs.

Web Application Integration :

  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate Contentful into applications built with React.js, Next.js, Angular, or similar frameworks.
  • Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) strategies for optimal performance and SEO.

    • API Development & Optimization :

  • Create and consume APIs using REST and GraphQL for content retrieval and management.
  • Optimize API queries for performance, caching, and SEO & Accessibility :
  • Ensure SEO best practices including structured data, metadata, and sitemap generation.
  • Implement accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) across content and UI.
  • Monitor and optimize Core Web Vitals and page load & Documentation :
  • Work closely with designers, content strategists, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Document technical implementations, workflows, and integration Skills & Qualifications Expertise :
  • 57 years of experience in web development or CMS implementation.
  • 23 years of hands-on experience with Contentful (mandatory).
  • Strong JavaScript / TypeScript skills with proficiency in REST APIs and GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React.js, Next.js, & Development Practices :
  • Deep understanding of headless CMS principles and JAMstack architecture.
  • Experience implementing SSR and SSG for scalable content delivery.
  • Knowledge of content caching strategies (CDN, incremental Competencies :
  • Understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines, Git workflows, and DevOps tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication Skills (Good to Have) :
  • Experience with other headless CMS platforms (Strapi, Sanity, Prismic).
  • Familiarity with cloud services like AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions.
  • Knowledge of static site generators (Gatsby, Hugo).
