Deputy - Western Region

About the Role

We are currently looking for Mine Deputies (Team Leaders) to join our operations in the Western Region – Airly, Clarence, and Springvale .

Reporting to the Shift Undermanager, your responsibilities will include

• Carrying out inspections within your area of responsibility
• Participating in effective pre and post shift handovers
• Completing shift reports precisely and accurately
• Conducting pre-shift address with your crew members, ensuring their understanding and adherence to the shift plan and awareness of relevant hazards, and required controls
• Ensuring health, safety and compliance issues are reported to the Undermanager and that crew members follow the correct reporting process on site
• Positively influencing the working culture of your crew through driving urgency and ownership of results, and through coaching and mentoring

Centennial is offering

o    3 x 12 hour shifts (Airly and Springvale)

o    4 x 10 hour shifts (Clarence)
