Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and related Azure services, along with a solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL / ELT frameworks, and performance optimization. This role requires both technical depth and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade data Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
Implement data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes from diverse on-premises and cloud-based sources.
Configure and manage Azure resources including storage accounts, databases, and compute services.
Develop and optimize SQL scripts, stored procedures, and views for data transformation,

analytics, and reporting.

Ensure compliance with data quality, governance, and security standards using Azure Purview, Key Vault, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

Collaborate with Data Scientists, BI Developers, and other stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve pipeline failures and performance issues.

Document technical designs, implementation details, and maintain best Skills Required :

Azure Data Factory (ADF) : Expertise in pipelines, triggers, linked services, and data flows.

Azure Synapse Analytics / SQL Data Warehouse advanced query optimization and data

modeling.

Azure Databricks (Spark / PySpark) : Hands-on experience in large-scale data processing.

Azure Data Lake (Gen2) storage and data organization best practices.

Strong proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.

Experience with ETL / ELT frameworks and data modeling (Star / Snowflake schema).

Familiarity with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and SQL Server.

CI / CD implementation using Azure DevOps; familiarity with Git, ARM templates, Terraform is a plus.

Exposure to Power BI integration is an Skills & Additional Qualifications :

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication.

Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.

Preferred Certification : Microsoft Certified : Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) or

equivalent
