Job descriptionLead company-wide legal compliance initiatives in alignment with applicable laws, rules, and regulatory frameworks Establish and enforce internal policies, procedures, and governance standards to minimize legal exposure Provide proactive legal counsel to management and business units on corporate matters and transactions Identify legal risks and implement appropriate measures for mitigation and protection of the company's interests Ensure timely compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements Liaise with regulatory bodies and represent the company during inspections or audits, where required Formulate, review, and update legal policies and frameworks to reflect changes in laws and business needs Promote awareness and understanding of policies across departments through training and communication Support strategic business initiatives by evaluating legal implications of new ventures, partnerships, or restructures Collaborate with leadership teams to align legal strategy with long-term business goals Lead and mentor a team of legal professionals, ensuring effective delegation and development Foster a high-performance legal team culture through collaboration, training, and guidance
Contract Management :
- Oversee drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of commercial agreements, MoUs, NDAs, vendor contracts, and service agreements
- Ensure that contracts are legally sound and aligned with organizational objectives
