Job description3–5+ years in QE / QA for BI, Data Analytics, or Data Warehouse environments. Strong hands-on testing experience with MicroStrategy & Power BI . Solid SQL skills; Python or Unix scripting a plus. Familiarity with Snowflake & Oracle. Understanding of BI best practices, data modeling, and DW concepts. Experience with automation, performance testing, and data quality validation. Excellent communication & ability to work independently in a fast-paced agile environment. Retail customer data experience preferred.
Role : Quality Engineer
Position Type : Full-Time Contract (40hrs / week)
Contract Duration : Long Term
Work Schedule : 8 hours / day (Mon-Fri)
Location : Pune, India – willing to go onsite
We’re looking for a Quality Engineer with strong MicroStrategy, Power BI & SQL experience to drive testing strategy, collaborate with developers, and partner closely with product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute QE methodologies for BI solutions across EDW & Big Data platforms.
- Design test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for dashboards, semantic models, and reporting workflows.
- Validate data accuracy and business rules across Snowflake, Oracle, and other data sources.
- Build / maintain automation frameworks for regression and performance testing.
- Collaborate with BI developers & data engineers to identify and resolve defects early.
- Provide quality metrics and support release readiness and production stability.
