Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Manager / Manager in Production, based in Howrah. The individual will manage day-to-day production activities, ensure adherence to quality standards, oversee processes for operational efficiency, and coordinate with various teams to meet production targets. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting production issues, implementing process improvements, monitoring inventory, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining production schedules to achieve timely delivery objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Production Management, Process Optimization, and Resource Planning
• Proficiency in implementing Quality Control processes and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Ability to analyze production data and apply Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles
• Excellent Communication, Leadership, and Team Management skills
• Knowledge of Inventory Management, Maintenance Planning, and Safety Standards
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial) or a related field
• Prior experience in FMCG or a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
