Technical Project Manager / Engineering Manager(Banking Domain Exp is must)

Experience Required : 12+ years

Location : Hyderabad

About the Role :

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager cum Engineering Manager to lead complex, enterprise-grade technology programs across cloud, full-stack development, and digital transformation initiatives. This is a dual-role requiring deep technical expertise in backend and frontend technologies , combined with strong program governance, stakeholder management, and team leadership capabilities.

You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of strategic programs, managing cross-functional engineering teams, and driving innovation through modern technology stacks and Agile practices.

Key Responsibilities :

Engineering Leadership

  • Architect and oversee development of scalable, secure, and high-performance applications using .NET Core, Java, React / Angular, Web APIs, and SQL / NoSQL databases
  • Lead cloud-native application development and migration on Azure / AWS , leveraging services like AKS, App Services, Azure DevOps, and CI / CD pipelines
  • Drive adoption of DevSecOps , microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, performance optimization , and security best practices

Program & Project Management

  • Lead multi-million-dollar programs with full ownership of scope, schedule, budget, and quality
  • Implement Agile / SAFe methodologies across distributed teams;

    • facilitate PI planning,sprint ceremonies, and release planning

  • Define and track KPIs, OKRs, and DORA metrics to drive delivery excellence
  • Manage risk, compliance (HIPAA, GDPR), and change control in regulated environments (BFSI, Healthcare, Insurance)

    • People & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams (30+ engineers) across geographies
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and C-level stakeholders to align technology with business goals
  • Drive talent development , performance management, and succession planning

    • Must-Have Qualifications :

  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering and technical project / program management
  • Proven track record in .NET / Java full-stack development , cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) , and Agile delivery
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI / CD, microservices, and API management
  • Hands-on experience in leading large-scale digital transformation and cloud migration programs and experienced on fixed bid projects
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and executive reporting skills

    • Preferred Certifications :

  • PMP , SAFe Agilist , or equivalent Agile certifications
  • Microsoft Azure or AWS Cloud Certifications
  • Generative AI or AI / ML exposure (preferred but not mandatory)
