Job description

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Sector Lead – Construction & Building Materials, based in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a proven track record of selling to large construction companies, infrastructure firms, and building material manufacturers / distributors. You should have strong relationships in this industry and a deep understanding of the sales, distribution, and procurement decision-making processes in construction and building materials.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and drive revenue growth for the Construction & Building Materials vertical.
  • Build and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to sector-specific needs.
  • Develop and nurture CXO-level relationships across large enterprises and leading distributors.
  • Lead consultative sales conversations focused on business impact and solution value, not just product pitching.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle – from lead generation and qualification to deal closure and account expansion.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure strong pre- and post-sales engagement.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and competitive landscape to refine positioning and drive thought leadership.
  • Report sales pipeline metrics and forecasts to senior leadership.

You Are Someone Who

  • Has 5–8 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, ideally selling into construction, building materials, or related manufacturing / distribution industries.
  • Proven success in enterprise sales, with the ability to close complex, high-value deals.
  • Based in Mumbai (or open to relocation).
  • Strong understanding of industry workflows : channel sales, supply chain, procurement, project management, and distributor engagement.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in selling SaaS solutions to construction or building material companies.
  • Established network of CXOs, sector heads, and decision-makers in construction and building materials.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or related field.
