Are you a passionate Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable automation frameworks using Katalon Studio?

We are looking for a skilled automation professional to join our Quality Engineering team, with expertise in Groovy scripting, BDD frameworks, and API test automation. The ideal candidate will contribute to building robust automation solutions, optimizing test coverage, and ensuring high-quality software delivery across projects.

The role involves close collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design test strategies, and implement end-to-end automation solutions aligned with Agile development practices. You will be responsible for developing reusable scripts, maintaining test frameworks, performing API validation, and managing test cycles using Rally or similar tools.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain BDD-based automation frameworks using Katalon Studio.

Develop and optimize Groovy scripts to support scalable and reusable test automation.

Perform API testing including request / response validation and automation using Katalon.

Manage and track test cases, executions, and defects in Rally or equivalent tools.

Collaborate with clients and business teams for requirement gathering and solution delivery.

Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve automation issues efficiently.

Work closely with developers and QA peers to ensure smooth integration and continuous quality.

Apply domain knowledge in insurance workflows, including policy creation and Surety bond processing.

Identify and implement opportunities for automation efficiency and performance improvements.

Requirements :

4–7 years of experience in Automation Testing.

Strong hands-on experience with Katalon Studio and Groovy scripting.

Proven experience in designing and maintaining BDD frameworks.

Expertise in API testing using Katalon.

Experience with test management tools such as Rally.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

Exposure to the insurance domain (policy creation, Surety bond processing).

Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Good to Have :

Experience integrating automation with CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).

Familiarity with version control tools like Git or Bitbucket.

Knowledge of SQL for data validation.

Experience with test reporting tools (Allure, Extent Reports).

Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner).

Basic understanding of Java or other programming languages.

Certification in ISTQB or similar QA frameworks.
