Head of Finance (B2B SaaS startup) - upto- 60LPA

We are hiring for a Head of Finance for a US based B2B SaaS Startup with India office in Bangalore.

Qualification : CA or MBA

Job Summary :

The Finance Head will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of the company. This position is responsible for ensuring financial integrity, managing stakeholder relationships, driving growth storytelling, and overseeing key financial processes and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, including investors

Key Responsibilities :

1. Stakeholder and Investor Management

: o Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and investors. o Effectively communicate financial performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to investors and stakeholders.

o Prepare, manage, and present financial insights and strategic recommendations and reports to support business decisions in board meetings.

o Develop and maintain a comprehensive board deck to communicate financial performance, strategic initiatives, and key business updates.

o Present financial insights and strategic recommendations to support business decisions.

o Develop compelling narratives around the company's growth trajectory and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support Series B funding efforts.

2. Compliance and Due Diligence :

o Oversee the preparation, organization, and management of all due diligence documentation for potential investors and stakeholders. o Ensure all financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory standards. o Ensure all financial agreements and contracts are accurately processed and recorded. o Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards for US and Indian Entity

3. Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Management : o Manage and administer the ESOP until the company reaches a valuation of $25- $50M. o Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and compliance related to ESOP transactions.

4. Treasury Management : o Develop and implement strategies for the effective utilization of unused cash balances. o Monitor and manage the company's liquidity and cash flow to optimize financial performance.

5. Accounts Payable / Receivable : o Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions. o Maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients to support financial operations. 6. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) : o Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes. o Conduct due diligence on financial projects and provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis. 7. Payroll Management : o Oversee the payroll process to ensure timely and accurate payment to employees. o Ensure compliance with payroll laws and regulations in both US and India. 8. Tax Registration and Compliance : o Manage tax registration processes and ensure compliance with tax regulations. o Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time. o Familiar with US laws and regulations.
