Job descriptionDevelop detailed PR plans and trend calendars that align with business objectives, product launches, and key industry trends Drive high-impact media coverage by securing compelling stories, interviews, and features in key publications and online channels. Create engaging content for press releases, media kits, articles, and other brand communications that effectively communicate brand messaging and value propositions. Media relations and on-site media management for Nykaa IPs (e.g., Nykaaland, Nykaa Wali Shaadi) and other brand-specific events. Develop and maintain up-to-date media and influencer contact lists relevant to the beauty industry Monitor and analyze PR campaign performance, providing regular reports (monthly, quarterly, annually) that summarize key activities, media coverage, and impact on brand awareness. Provide insights and recommendations based on performance analysis to improve content effectiveness. Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, and business heads) to ensure seamless integration of PR activities and alignment on campaign goals and timelines. Manage relationships with external vendors, PR agencies, and partners, ensuring timely communication, adherence to project timelines, and accurate processing of payments. 2+ years of experience in PR, brand strategy, and influencer marketing, ideally within the beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries. Strong expertise in managing media relations, securing high-impact coverage, and driving brand visibility. Deep understanding of beauty trends, digital media, influencers, and media trends. Ability to create impactful and consistent brand messaging across various channels and formats. Experience working cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and business teams to execute integrated campaigns. Strong organizational and vendor management skills to handle multiple projects and timelines. Analytical skills to assess campaign performance and report on KPIs such as brand awareness, engagement, and media coverage. Passion for beauty and fashion is a plus.
Role Overview :
Nykaa is looking for a dynamic Senior Executive to join the central PR team for our beauty-owned brands. The ideal candidate will drive PR efforts, conceptualize influencer strategies, and manage events and collaborations that amplify brand presence. Role Description :
Communication Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies across paid, owned, and earned media channels, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and overall marketing plans.
- Conceptualize and execute influencer specific initiatives, including seeding programs, paid collaborations (when applicable), and long-term partnerships to maximize brand reach and engagement.
- Identify and cultivate strategic brand collaboration opportunities with relevant partners, exploring innovative approaches on new-age platforms to expand brand visibility.
