About the Role
We are seeking 13 - 20 years experienced Technical Project Manager (Tech PM) with a strong understanding of Oracle databases to lead our on-premises team. The ideal candidate will manage Run-The-Bank (RTB) processes including Vulnerability (VUL) remediation, Version & Infrastructure Testing (VITs), and system upgrades. The role requires close coordination with stakeholders and the cloud team to assess requirements and define enhancement strategies for both on-prem and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the on-prem Oracle database team, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of RTB processes (VUL, VITs, upgrades).
- Oversee vulnerability management, patching, and upgrade cycles for Oracle databases.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
- Collaborate with the cloud team to identify which requirements should be implemented on-prem vs. cloud.
- Plan, prioritize, and manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards.
- Provide regular updates to leadership and drive process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager / Technical Manager in database environments.Strong knowledge of Oracle databases (on-prem) including upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation.Experience managing RTB operations and leading technical teams.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Strong project management expertise (Agile / Waterfall methodologies).Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or OCI) and hybrid setups preferred.Nice to Have
Oracle certification (OCP, OCA, etc.).Experience in IT risk, compliance, or security frameworks.Prior experience working with financial services or regulated environments.
