Role Overview
You will be the primary link between surgeons, hospitals and VITTOMED’s product line including surgical cameras, surgical loupes and related optical and imaging technologies. The role involves in-OT product demonstrations, driving clinical trials, building surgeon relationships and converting them into recurring business.
This position requires strong technical understanding, field discipline and the ability to influence clinical decisions through product education.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and demonstrate VITTOMED’s surgical devices in hospitals and clinics across Kerala
- Perform live OT demos and assist surgeons or nursing staff during trials
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Build strong relationships with surgeons, biomedical departments and purchase teams
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Identify key accounts and plan strategic hospital penetration
- Provide training and product knowledge sessions for hospital staff
- Execute installations and coordinate after-sales support with the technical team
- Participate in workshops, CMEs and clinical events to boost brand presence
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and company policies
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or related field1+ years experience in medical device / surgical equipment salesExcellent clinical communication skills with strong Malayalam + English fluencyDemonstrated success in hospital field sales and achieving targetsStrong problem-solving ability in fast-paced OT environmentsGood technical aptitude in imaging / optics devices is a strong advantageWilling to travel extensively across KeralaPreferred Profile
