Job Summary

Minimum 8+ years as a Database Administrator with deep hands-on experience in PostgreSQL (5+ years specifically in PostgreSQL).

At least 3+ years working with AlloyDB or similar cloud-native, managed PostgreSQL-compatible databases.

Core Responsibilities :

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain PostgreSQL and AlloyDB database solutions ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.
• Manage end-to-end database administration including migrations, replication, security, backup, and recovery.
• Lead efforts in performance tuning, query optimization.
• Configure and administer high availability (HA) architectures including failover, clustering, and read replica management.
• Implement database security policies, encryption, and vulnerability remediation.
• Automate tasks using shell scripting and manage monitoring and alerting systems.
• Work closely with developers and application teams to integrate with data sources and optimize workflows.
