Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced
National Sales Manager (Dentistry)
to lead and expand our dental product sales across India. This full-time, on-site position (based in Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune, or Mumbai) is responsible for developing strategic sales plans, managing key accounts, leading a team, and driving growth within the dental sector.
Key responsibilities include :
Developing and executing national sales strategies for the dental division
Building strong client and distributor relationships
Managing and mentoring a sales team
Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
Achieving revenue targets and ensuring sustainable business growth
Key Responsibilities
A. Strategic Sales Leadership
Develop and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy for the Dentistry division
Identify growth opportunities across customer segments and regions
Stay informed on dental market trends, competitor activities, and product innovations
B. Business Development & Performance Management
Own revenue and profitability goals for the division
Establish sales processes, CRM frameworks, and performance metrics
Set sales targets, monitor progress, and ensure consistent execution
C. Sales Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Provide mentorship and ongoing professional development opportunities
D. Channel & Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong partnerships with distributors, key opinion leaders, and dental organizations
Collaborate closely with internal teams (Marketing, Operations, Product, Finance) to align strategies and goals
E. Financial & Operational Excellence
Develop and manage sales budgets
Track sales metrics and use data-driven insights to guide decision-making
Drive efficiency through process optimization and technology adoption
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achievement of revenue and growth targets
Market expansion in identified regions
Successful onboarding of new partners / distributors
Implementation and adoption of CRM and sales processes
Team performance, retention, and engagement metrics
Customer and partner satisfaction levels
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field
10+ years of experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably within the
healthcare or dental industry
Proven experience in national or regional sales leadership roles
Strong business planning, budgeting, and account management skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities
Ability to analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies
