Position Overview
The
National Sales Manager – Cardiology
will be responsible for driving sales and market growth of Ajanta Pharma’s cardiology portfolio across India. This role requires strong leadership, deep therapeutic knowledge, and proven ability to build robust relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in cardiology.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and motivate the
all-India cardiology sales team
to deliver business objectives.
Develop and implement
national sales strategies
aligned with corporate goals.
Build and strengthen strong relationships with
Cardiologists, KOLs, and institutional stakeholders .
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and develop actionable insights to gain competitive advantage.
Drive execution of
marketing strategies, campaigns, and new product launches
in coordination with the marketing team.
Establish
performance metrics , monitor results, and ensure corrective actions for achievement of sales targets.
Identify and develop talent within the team, ensuring a culture of
performance, accountability, and continuous learning .
Ensure compliance with
all regulatory, ethical, and company standards .
Desired Candidate Profile
Graduate in Science / Pharmacy; MBA in Marketing preferred.
12–18 years
of progressive sales experience in the
Pharma industry , with a minimum of
5 years in cardiology segment leadership .
Proven track record of handling
Pan-India sales operations .
Strong KOL connect in the cardiology field.
Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic execution skills.
Ability to lead and inspire large, geographically dispersed sales teams.
