Stratacent - SQL Developer

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer / SQL Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust SQL databases and queries that power business applications and analytics.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with data analysts, application developers, and stakeholders to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and integrity across critical systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Optimize and tune SQL queries to ensure scalability and high performance.
• Design and maintain relational databases and logical data models.
• Perform ETL (data extraction, transformation, loading) operations.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with application and analytics teams to provide data-driven Skills & Experience :
• Strong proficiency in SQL (T-SQL / PL-SQL).
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and database normalization.
• Deep understanding of indexes, joins, and performance tuning techniques.
• Basic knowledge of Python or Shell scripting (preferred, not mandatory).
