Position Overview
Looking for Head IT & ITES is responsible for overseeing the entire IT strategy, infrastructure, and systems across all business units ( Hotels & Resorts ) within the corporate framework. This role ensures the seamless operation and enhancement of IT services and solutions The role also involves aligning IT functions with corporate strategies, ensuring compliance with IT policies, and optimizing processes through technology to improve the overall efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the corporate IT strategy, aligning IT initiatives with organizational goals and business strategies.
- Develop and implement IT governance frameworks, ensuring all technology systems and processes meet compliance, security standards, and industry regulations.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of business systems (ERP, CRM, etc.), ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
- Oversee network configuration, Servers, Workstations, Networking equipment, PABX, email accounts, and also support for the underlying server / desktop infrastructure.
- Lead vendor negotiations, manage contracts, and maintain strong relationships with external partners to ensure cost-effective procurement and high service quality.
- Oversee corporate network architecture, ensuring robust infrastructure for WAN / LAN, VPNs, and secure data communication across business units.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of IT operations across corporate and other associated units, including the management of data centers, server infrastructures, workstations, telephony systems, and cloud environments.
- Manage and enforce disaster recovery plans and business continuity processes to minimize downtime and mitigate risks related to data loss or cyber threats.
- Ensure adherence to IT security policies, conducting regular audits and implementing best practices to protect corporate information systems and data.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends in IT technology and systems, proactively introducing new solutions to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost optimization across all IT-related expenditures.
- Provides user training and support of all property / site systems, network enhancements, hardware and software support.
- Maintains an inventory of all hardware products and software licenses, and reviews maintenance agreements.
- Aware of the most up-to-date methods and technologies in the Information Communication Technology (I.C.T.) industry.
- Interact with senior management and provides best practices and proven solutions that will improve and enhance the delivery of products, systems, software across the resort
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Provide guidance and technical support to all corporate-level IT staff.
Key Competencies
Should have experience with hospitalityAdvanced knowledge of network infrastructure (WAN / LAN, VPNs, firewalls), server and storage systems, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity protocols.Strong project management skills to oversee the deployment and integration of IT systems, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.Skilled in vendor negotiation, contract management, and maintaining long-term relationships with service providers.Proficient in IT security frameworks and compliance with data privacy laws and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO, etc.).Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis for critical issues.Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional IT teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Strong understanding of business operations, financial systems, and the impact of IT on business performance.Skills Required
