About the Role :

Leadsoc Technologies (Bangalore) is seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist II to strengthen our security operations and infrastructure. The role requires deep expertise in firewalls, AWS security, Linux networking, automation, and CI / CD practices to safeguard enterprise environments and deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

The IT Security Specialist will be responsible for designing, managing, and troubleshooting firewall rule-bases, with a preference for Palo Alto firewalls. The role involves managing AWS networking and security, Linux networking, and system administration. The candidate will also develop automation solutions using Python and Ansible, and collaborate on version control and CI / CD processes with GitLab. Additional responsibilities include working on infrastructure-as-code initiatives, integrating security into pipelines, and monitoring environments using tools like Splunk.

Requirements :

• 10- 14 years of experience in IT Security and Networking.
• Expertise in firewalls, rule-base design, and troubleshooting (Palo Alto experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of AWS networking and security.
• Proficiency in Linux networking and system administration.
• Hands-on automation experience using Python and Ansible.
• Familiarity with GitLab and collaborative DevOps workflows.
