Core responsibilities

Patient Assessment and Monitoring : Conduct physical exams, take vital signs (like blood pressure, temperature, pulse), and monitor patient behavior and condition.

Care and Treatment : Administer medications, provide treatments as prescribed, and change wound dressings.

Planning and Coordination : Develop and implement patient care plans, coordinate care with doctors and other healthcare professionals, and interpret diagnostic tests.

Documentation : Accurately record patient medical history, symptoms, and all treatments and actions taken in electronic health records.

Patient and Family Education : Counsel and educate patients and their families on health conditions, disease prevention, and maintaining health.

Support and Collaboration : Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, and supervise junior nursing staff, aides, and assistants.

Qualifications and skills

Graduation from a recognized nursing school

A valid nursing license

Clinical skills and the ability to perform technical medical duties

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Excellent communication, compassion, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team

Requirements

Must be a high school graduate. Further training in child care and development from some registered institution (eg. ACNS ). Proven child care experience with references. First Aid and CPR certification. Safety certification. A valid driving license and a safe driving record.
