About The Position :

We (Kohler India Technical Center) are a captive global center providing technical and nontechnical support for all the businesses and product lines for Kohler Co. globally (including Kitchen and Bath, Engines, Generators, Hospitality).

We are looking for a Purchasing associate to join our team and enrich our Purchasing Organization – with good English skills, Purchasing Knowledge, Strategic Mind and Creativity, and divergent thinking. Talented associate to work in Global Sourcing Groups with an ability to influence internal & external stakeholders with Prompt and Proactive Support on Purchasing projects keeping commitments on the SLAs, TATs, and deadlines.

Role And Responsibility :

  • To manage spend for IT strategic sourcing
  • To manage IT Professional services, software , contract managment and IT hardware spend for PAN India & Global level
  • Expert Contract management , negotiation for professional services.
  • Should have experience in IT service , IT projects .
  • Have experience of e-sourcing .
  • Good in presentation, newsletters
  • Able to manage MIS, weekly reports.
  • Manage relations with the stakeholders and be a customer advocate for all the assigned global purchasing support areas.
  • Actively participate in the Process and System enhancement activities.
  • Drive continual improvements to automate the manual activities wherever possible.
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output.
  • Establish rules and procedures for presenting the data, trends, and dashboards with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Standard Operating Process (SOP) Setup and Process Improvement
  • Constantly search for and seek out improvement of Purchasing and practices that eliminates non-value-added activity and incorporates relevant best practices.
  • Contract management SOP and SOW for different services
  • Work effectively with all the concerned teams, functions
  • Develop, Maintain, and enhance relations with the stakeholders. Understand all stakeholder / internal customer requirements.
  • Forecast growth opportunities, prepare roadmaps, and build capabilities for future readiness.

Experience Requirement :

What we are looking for from your past experience

  • Must Have's
  • 6-10 Years of experience in handling Purchasing activities and Indirect Purchasing functions.(Especially in IT Professional services).
  • To close IT sow along with stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic Purchasing mindset and strong basics in supply chain management
  • Very good presentation and Documentation skills
  • Technical
  • Need to have hands on experience in tools like SAP
  • Hands on in Microsoft office tools
  • Skills required.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Confident and reliable
  • Willingness to multitask and take new initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and coordination skills
  • Good to have : Preference would be given to candidates with below
  • Good to have experience in SRM tools
  • Exposure to Spend Analysis and Cost Savings
  • Knowledge of IT and Hr services.
  • Educational Qualification Requirement :

    Bachelor's degree in IT or MBA

    Organizational Relationships :

  • Reports to Manager purchasing
  • Regular interactions with team members and customers
  • Frequent interaction with Internal stakeholders including Purchasing Leadership teams.
