Job Details

  • Title : Business Development Executive
  • Experience Level : 3-4 years in B2B sales
  • Location : Remote (India-based, working European and US hours)
  • Travel : Occasional international travel to events

Compensation Package

Base Salary : INR 6,40,000 - 7,80,000 per annum

Commission Structure :

  • 6-9% of revenue generated
  • Uncapped earning potential
  • Monthly Sales Target : USD 13,000

    On-Target Earnings (OTE) : INR 18,90,000 - 20,30,000 per annum

    Role Overview

    The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities in the North American and European markets, managing the end-to-end sales process and forging long-term partnerships to drive company revenue. This individual will drive revenue growth through strategic client acquisition and relationship management, whilst ensuring exceptional customer experience at our industry events.

    Important : This role requires working on European and US business hours to effectively engage with our target markets.

    Job Responsibilities

    Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, qualify and close high-value opportunities across North American and European target markets
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to negotiation and closing deals
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to foster repeat business and referrals
  • Collaborate with delegate sales, marketing and operations teams to tailor offerings to client needs
  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales target of USD 13,000 and quarterly / annual revenue goals
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and client meetings
  • Customer Relationship Management

  • Maintain comprehensive CRM records of all customer interactions to ensure accurate tracking of client engagement and sales pipeline progression
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline, forecasts and performance to management
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across all customer records
  • Event Management & Customer Success

  • Travel to company events to ensure allocated customers receive exceptional service and experience maximum satisfaction
  • Actively engage with clients during events to secure repeat business commitments
  • Support the event operations team before and during each event, including pre-event client liaison and on-site coordination.

  • Required Qualifications

    Essential Requirements :

  • 3-4 years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in events, media or professional services
  • Demonstrated experience selling to North American or European markets (mandatory)
  • Experience in high-value B2B sales and long-cycle deal closures
  • Ability and willingness to work European and US business hours
  • Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills and a data-driven approach
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently, take ownership and drive results in a fast-paced
  • environment

    Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with CRM systems and sales pipeline management
  • Understanding of the semiconductor, electronics, mobility, financial services or power generation sectors
  • Comfortable with international travel for events (2-4 times per year)
  • Previous experience in the events or conference industry
