Role

Own network operations for a global, regulated environment. Keep networks secure, available, and performant while driving changes and improvements.

What you’ll do

Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents across LAN / WAN / Wi-Fi, DNS / DHCP, VPN.

Perform upgrades / patching and hardening across network devices and servers.

Execute network changes following change management; support major outages as needed.

Partner with Network Eng / Sec / Compliance; contribute to design reviews and projects.

Must-have skills

Strong L2 / L3 : VLAN / STP, routing (OSPF / EIGRP / BGP), load balancers.

Firewalls & VPN : Palo Alto (policies, NAT, IPsec, GlobalProtect).

Cisco stack : Catalyst 9K, Nexus 93xx; Wireless (WLC 9800, AP 9120).

Monitoring / ops : SolarWinds; solid DNS / DHCP administration.

Cloud networking : Azure / AWS (NSG / ASG, multi-region).

Solid OSI / TCP-IP fundamentals; excellent troubleshooting.

Nice to have

Cisco SDA / ISE, VXLAN, DNAC; scripting / automation; design / architecture exposure.

Regulated domain (medical device / pharma / biotech) experience.

Certifications : CCNA / CCNP (R&S / DC).
