About the Position :
The Business Development Analyst will focus on identifying and engaging potential clients across diagnostics, pharma, biotech, and life sciences. The person drives targeted outreach through email, , and conferences, manages CRM pipelines, and tracks conversion metrics. They collaborate with BD and marketing teams to refine materials, support event outreach, and continuously improve lead qualification and engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns through email, , and conference networking to generate qualified leads for Strand’s informatics services
- Identify and profile potential clients across diagnostics, pharma, biotech, and life science technology sectors.
- Research target accounts to map key decision-makers, ongoing programs, and partnership opportunities in bioinformatics, multi-omics, data curation, and clinical genomics.
- Maintain and update prospect databases (e.g., google docs / CRM) with accurate lead details, contact intelligence, and engagement history.
- Track and analyze engagement metrics, follow-ups, and conversion rates to ensure healthy pipeline progression.
- Support pre- and post-event outreach for major conferences (e.g., ASHG, AMP, ACMG, AACR) — identifying key attendees, scheduling meetings, and maintaining follow-up logs.
- Collaborate with marketing and BD teams to refine outreach materials such as intro decks, capability summaries, email templates, and case studies.
- Generate weekly and monthly performance reports summarizing lead-gen activity, progress, challenges, and insights.
- Work closely with BD, technical, and delivery teams to stay aligned with evolving offerings and client needs.
- Continuously refine lead qualification strategies and outreach effectiveness based on market feedback and trends.
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field .1-2 years of experience in business development, market research, or client management (life sciences or technology domain preferred).Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Zoho / CRM, or equivalent tools .High attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.We offer
