Your Role And Responsibilities
About the team
The HashiCorp Cloud Platform (HCP) Billing team is at the center of our cloud business. We enable customers to trial and procure products, understand their usage, and pay for the value they receive. Our work is foundational to every product on HCP and is critical to the company's success.
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Billing Analyst to join our team. This is a new and vital role designed to be the operational backbone of our billing function. You will take ownership of critical billing processes that are currently handled by Product Managers and Engineers, ensuring our customers and our internal teams have the timely support they need. Your work will directly safeguard customer trust and company revenue, while freeing up your teammates to focus on building the future of the platform.
What You'll Do (responsibilities)
- Execute critical billing functions : You will be responsible for high-impact operational tasks, such as enabling sales-led product trials, ensuring timely product access for customers, reviewing delinquency cases, and working with account teams to address customers operating outside their contract.
- Serve as a key point of contact for billing inquiries : You will investigate and resolve billing-related questions from internal teams including Support, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Accounts Receivable.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity : You will monitor for and investigate anomalies in product metering and rating data, support end-of-month revenue reconciliation, and handle unique customer billing situations with precision.
- Drive process improvements : You will document existing operational workflows and identify opportunities to make them more efficient, reliable, and scalable over time.
