About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Retention Marketing Intern to join our team. The intern will support customer engagement and retention initiatives by assisting in the creation, execution, and optimization of campaigns across email, WhatsApp, push notifications, on-site messaging, and other channels.

This role offers hands-on exposure to lifecycle marketing in a fast-paced environment, with an opportunity to directly impact customer journeys.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing retention campaigns across Email, WhatsApp, Push, On-site Messaging, and In-app channels.

Draft concise and engaging content for campaigns in line with brand tone.

Coordinate with design teams for creatives and ensure timely delivery of campaigns.

Set up, test, and optimize campaigns using marketing automation tools like MoEngage / CleverTap.

Monitor campaign performance (e.g., open rates, CTRs, conversions) and prepare reports.

Support segmentation, personalization, and automation strategies.

Research best practices and contribute ideas to improve customer engagement.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Interest in digital marketing, customer engagement, and analytics.

Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.

Prior exposure to digital or retention marketing tools is a plus (not mandatory).
