Description :
We are looking for a highly organized and technically proficient Technical Project Manager to lead and manage complex technology projects from inception through delivery.
You will serve as the bridge between engineering teams, product managers, stakeholders, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
The ideal candidate combines strong project management skills with a deep understanding of software development processes and technologies.
You will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects while mitigating risks and ensuring effective communication across all teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of technical projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Collaborate with product owners, engineering leads, QA, and other stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans including milestones, resource allocation, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Track and report on project progress, identifying and resolving roadblocks or risks proactively.
- Manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication.
- Coordinate with external vendors and third-party service providers when necessary.
- Ensure quality standards and best practices are upheld throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies and tools.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels, providing status updates and managing expectations.
- Support post-launch activities, including performance tracking, issue resolution, and user feedback integration.
Required Skills & Experience :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.5+ years of experience managing software development or IT infrastructure projects.Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.Proven track record managing complex technical projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, or similar.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.Skilled at risk management, issue resolution, and conflict management.Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities.PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Scrum Master certification is a plus(ref : hirist.tech)
