As a Director of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Investment Banking, you lead multiple technical areas, manage the activities of multiple departments, and collaborate across technical domains. • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software projects, ensuring they meet business requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Implement best practices in project management and software development methodologies.
• Utilize extensive technical expertise in Python to develop scalable and robust software solutions.
• Ensure optimal design and implementation of data architectures.
• Leverage experience with JPMorgan's in-house risk management system, Athena, and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the trade lifecycle, risk management, and financial products, especially in commodities.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software solutions.
• Promote innovation by staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Champion Agile methodologies to enhance project delivery, team collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile principles.
