Role Summary :
As Assistant Manager you will support the digital and operational transformation of the organisation, ensuring the seamless integration of technology with retail operations to drive innovation, growth, and enhanced customer experiences. This role combines deep understanding retail and technical acumen to redefine the retail environment, creating value through innovative IT solutions, data-driven decision-making, and optimised customer engagement. The role focuses on driving the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of best practices, processes, and tools across the organisation.
Responsibilities :
1. Process Optimisation : - Identify opportunities to streamline operations across sales, inventory and customer service.
2. Innovation and Digital Transformation : - Research and support the deploy emerging technologies and innovative solutions to enhance retail operations.
3. Change Management : - Act as a catalyst for change, support adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies.
4. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Alignment : - Work closely with departments such as, Audit marketing, supply chain, and store operations to ensure cohesive implementation of initiatives.
5. Project Management : - Maintain project tracker and escalate any deviations from timelines. Maintain the risk and issue log and support troubleshooting.
People Management :
The incumbent holds no direct supervisory responsibilities but is expected to engage effectively within their function and collaboratively across cross-functional teams. This role contributes meaningfully, whether through operational contributions and / or by offering specialized expertise, guidance, and support, to ensure alignment with either functional and / or strategic organizational goals and objectives.
