Head of Foreign Languages

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Foreign Languages with a specialisation in Spanish to lead our foreign language department. The ideal candidate will be passionate about language education and possess strong leadership skills to inspire both students and faculty.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee the foreign language curriculum ensuring alignment with educational standards and best practices.
• Lead, mentor, and support language teachers in their professional development.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and assessment methods.
• Foster a positive and collaborative environment among faculty and students.
• Coordinate language programs, including IGCSE and IBDP Spanish courses.
• Organise cultural events and activities to promote language immersion and appreciation.
• Collaborate with administration to manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, making adjustments to curriculum as necessary.
