An exciting opportunity exists for a relational, energetic and community-minded educator to join St Bernadette’s School in 2026.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding educator who embodies and actively embraces the Dominican tradition. They will be highly skilled and possess the expertise, knowledge and passion to develop thriving people, capable learners and leaders for the world God desires. The successful candidate will be committed to implementing whole school agreed practices while demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
The successful applicant will
Support and promote Catholic Identity and Dominican Spirituality as a member of the St Bernadette’s staff.
Demonstrate beliefs and practices in the teaching of literacy and numeracy in alignment with school wide practices.
Possess the ability to differentiate teaching to meet the specific learning needs of students across a full range of abilities.
Establish and maintain outstanding relationships with students, staff and the wider community
Demonstrate an understanding and application of Restorative and Visible Wellbeing Practices to promote student connectedness, engagement, and regulation.
