About The Role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer (6+ years) with strong hands-on expertise in multi-cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP), CI / CD automation, Kubernetes, containerization, Git branching strategies, and cloud infrastructure cost optimization. The ideal candidate will drive automation, scalability, and reliability across our cloud and deployment ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimize end-to-end CI / CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable software delivery.
- Architect, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure for high availability and scalability.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment setup using Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Kubernetes-based workloads and containerized applications.
- Develop automation frameworks and integrate them seamlessly with CI pipelines.
- Create Python / Shell automation tools to improve operational and developer productivity.
- Maintain container build workflows, image management, and deployment processes.
- Implement and govern branching strategies, release workflows, and versioning standards.
- Monitor service health, performance, and reliability, and proactively resolve issues.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to streamline engineering workflows.
- Analyze cloud usage and implement cost optimization practices and policies.
Basic Qualifications
Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services and architectures.Expert-level understanding of CI / CD tools : Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD.Deep expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.Strong understanding of Kubernetes components, workloads, architecture, and debugging.Excellent knowledge of Docker, container build practices, and runtime concepts.Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation.Preferred Qualifications
Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and how they integrate with CI / CD pipelines.Solid understanding of Git branching strategies, merge practices, and versioning.Knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability practices.Good understanding of cloud cost optimization, right-sizing, and resource efficiency.Familiarity with DevSecOps concepts : IAM, RBAC, security scanning, and secret management.Why Gruve
