To be a Senior Staff Engineer at OnlineSales.ai, you need to be a systems thinker, a hands-on technologist, and a technical leader.

You're someone who thrives on solving complex architectural challenges at scale and mentoring other engineers to do the same.

You will drive critical technical decisions, influence long-term platform strategy, and ensure our systems are built for performance, scalability, and resilience.

You will work closely with Engineering Leads, Product Managers, and Founders to shape the technology roadmap of OnlineSales.ai :

• Own and drive the technical vision, architecture, and execution strategy for large, complex systems across multiple engineering pods.
• Lead design and implementation of scalable, fault-tolerant systems that handle billions of data points and real-time decisioning.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that are elegant, practical, and impactful.
• Write high-quality, performant, and testable code across services in Java, Python, Node.js, or equivalent modern stacks.
• Review designs, code, and architecture with a sharp eye on security, scalability, and reliability.
• Mentor senior engineers, influence engineering practices, and help define engineering standards.
• Debug and root cause production issues across multiple layers of the stack.
• Drive adoption of modern development practices, CI / CD, observability, containerization, and DevOps excellence.
• Be a culture carrier who leads from the front and builds a strong engineering culture around quality, ownership, and :
• 7-10 years of experience designing and building large-scale, distributed software systems in production.
• Deep knowledge of system design, microservices architecture, cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP), and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Strong experience with high-performance databases, distributed caching, messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and big data pipelines.
• Proven experience leading engineering initiatives and working with cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Mastery of at least one modern programming language, such as Java, Python, Go, Node.js, etc.
• Strong product sense, ability to balance short-term execution with long-term architecture and scalability.
• Experience mentoring engineers, conducting technical interviews, and scaling engineering orgs.
• A Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
