Job Description :
We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Data Architect with strong expertise in solution application architecture, advanced data modelling, and modern data flow design.
The ideal candidate will have deep exposure to hybrid data landscapes, governance frameworks, and hands-on implementation across both native Azure services and open-source platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead solution architecture, data modelling, ontology modelling, and data flow architecture for large-scale enterprise data ecosystems.
- Architect and design solutions leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Purview.
- Drive end-to-end data strategies in hybrid landscapes across unstructured, time-series, OT, ET, and enterprise data domains.
- Design and engineer data catalogs, semantic models, and metadata frameworks using Azure native services and modern data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and Dremio.
- Utilize open-source tools, APIs, and Python for data extraction, processing, and building custom connectors and integration utilities.
- Implement solutions with Apache Iceberg, Azure Data Catalog, Purview, Apache Atlas, OpenLineage, and other modern data governance tools.
- Drive adoption of DataOps practices with observability frameworks leveraging Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, and open-source technologies.
- Partner with stakeholders, engineering teams, and business leaders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures.
Required Skills & Experience :
10+ years of experience in data architecture and solution design, with proven leadership in enterprise-scale deployments.Strong expertise in Azure data ecosystem including Fabric, Purview, Azure Data Catalog, and native services.Rich experience in data modelling, ontology modelling, and data flow architecture.Proven track record of designing hybrid solutions across structured and unstructured datasets.Hands-on expertise with Snowflake, Databricks, Dremio, and open-source data platforms.Strong programming skills in Python, including API development and automation frameworks.Deep understanding of data governance, metadata management, and lineage using open-source and enterprise-grade tools.Experience with DataOps, monitoring, and observability frameworks (Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus).Good to Have :
