Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Sous Chef located in the Greater Delhi Area. The Executive Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, maintaining high culinary standards, and managing kitchen staff. The role requires overseeing kitchen operations to ensure smooth functioning, maintaining health and safety standards, and ensuring efficient inventory and cost management. The Executive Sous Chef will also play a role in staff training and development.

Qualifications

  • Experience in menu planning and food preparation
  • Strong leadership and management skills to oversee kitchen staff
  • Ability to maintain high culinary standards and quality control
  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost control
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety standards in a kitchen environment
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Previous experience in a similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel is preferred
  • Formal culinary education or training is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of European, Mexican and other international cuisines
